  I welcome everything that comes to me today
  because I know it is for my healing.

  I welcome all thoughts, feelings, emotions, persons, situations, and conditions.

  I let go of my desire for power and control.

  I let go of my desire for affection, esteem, approval and pleasure.

  I let go of my desire for survival and security.

  I let go of my desire to change any situation, condition, person or myself.

  I open to the love and presence of God and God’s action within.

Many of us come from destination-oriented worldviews. Getting somewhere. Knowing where we’re going. Needing to frame everything within the realms of certainty. Placating our fear of the unknown with elements of control, and gaslighting ourselves by calling that grip “faith.”

I wonder what kind of journey you’re on now? Using the lyrics in this song as today’s prompt, I wonder what sense you might have of being on a journey that you never thought you’d take? Can you think of an example of something that represents that sense of “belonging” to this Mystery?
